Mark Helfrich: Oregon players who did ‘No Means No’ chant will be disciplined

oregon-mocks-fsu-war-chantMark Helfrich says the Oregon players who mocked Florida State and Jameis Winston with a “No Means No” version of the Tomahawk chop chant will be disciplined by the program.

“We are aware of the inappropriate behavior in the postgame. This is not what our programs stand for, and the student-athletes will be disciplined internally,” Helfrich said in a statement after the game.

A handful of Ducks players could be seen celebrating on the field following their Rose Bowl win over Florida State and doing the chant. Linebacker Torrodney Prevot and running back Kani Benoit were two of the players who could be seen doing the chant.

Given what we know about the case, a chant about Tallahassee police not investigating matters properly is more in order.
