McKenzie Milton helping teammates from hospital via FaceTime
UCF is going to have a tough time beating Memphis in the AAC Championship Game this weekend now that McKenzie Milton is out with an injury, but the star quarterback is making sure he is still part of the equation even while he recovers in the hospital.
Milton suffered a gruesome leg injury during last week’s game against South Florida, and he was forced to immediately undergo surgery. He even suffered nerve damage and was having blood flow issues, but his family said on Tuesday that he is recovering well given the circumstances. Not only that, but Milton is apparently feeling well enough to help his teammates prepare for their upcoming game via FaceTime.
While recovering at Tampa General Hospital, McKenzie Milton has been FaceTiming into the QB room, helping his teammates and Darriel Mack prepare for Memphis on Saturday. Speaks to how amazing KZ is.

The timing of Milton’s injury couldn’t be much worse, as he is arguably the biggest reason the Knights have not lost a game since the 2016 season. Despite the horrific injury and awful situation, you have to admire the way he is doing what he can to keep helping the team.
