Michigan State’s touchdown at the end of their game with Michigan Saturday was one for the ages. The Wolverines had a 23-21 lead and the game in the bag. All they had to do was field a punt, kick the ball, and then just make sure nothing bad happened in 10 seconds. It was too easy. And they blew it.
The radio call from Michigan State’s announcers was pretty awesome.
That was George Blaha and Jason Strayhorn of Spartan Sports Network on the call. Great stuff.
Below is the Michigan radio call, if you think you can bear it.
The announcers there? Jim Brandstatter and Dan Dierdorf of Michigan IMG Sports Network.
Sometimes great moments in sports are told best by the local radio teams. I think we can agree that was the case here.
