Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill collapsed on the sideline during his team’s Outback Bowl game against Iowa on Saturday.
Hill took a big hit on a run late in the fourth quarter and was able to walk off the field under his own power. However, he collapsed when he got to the sideline and appeared to lose consciousness. Hill was immediately taken to the medical tent, and shockingly he was seen standing on the sideline with his helmet on a short time after.
It’s not immediately known what the injury was.

Hill later reentered the game, which is certainly a good sign. The sophomore was averaging an impressive 6.6 yards per carry coming into Tuesday.
