
N.C. State defensive end Bradley Chubb apologized on Saturday for spitting on the Florida State logo at midfield after his team’s upset win over the Seminoles.
Here’s Chubb’s apology:

Chubb had said in postgame comments that it wasn’t intentional and he didn’t even remember doing it.

The video seems to show pretty conclusive evidence that his actions were intentional.

At least Chubb didn’t claim he was hacked or misquoted. Apologizing is the best way to take ownership and end the story before it gets out of hand.
