Ole Miss DE Jared Ivey absolutely obliterated Oklahoma QB on big forced fumble
Ole Miss defensive end Jared Ivey will be haunting Jackson Arnold in the Oklahoma quarterback’s dreams.
Oklahoma had the ball at their 48-yard line down 10-7 in the second quarter of their game Saturday against the Rebels at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Miss. The Sooners called for a trap running play, but right guard Febechi Nwaiwu was late getting to his spot. He was supposed to pull and block Ivey to open a hole, but Ivey was already at the quarterback by the time Nwaiwu got there.
The result is Arnold got absolutely crushed by Ivey, who forced and recovered a fumble on the play.

Yes, Ivey got in there so quickly that Oklahoma didn’t even have time to make the handoff.
The Rebels didn’t turn that into points as they turned the ball over on downs at the Sooners’ 5-yard line. But Ivey certainly made his mark on the game.
