Partridge has been at Michigan since 2015. He started off as a director of player personnel, then became a special teams and linebackers coach, and is in his second season as special teams coordinator and safeties coach. As VanHaaren said, Partridge is regarded as a strong recruiter, which is something Kiffin values.
Other hires to the staff made by Kiffin include: Jeff Lebby (offensive coordinator), Kevin Smith (assistant coach) and Wilson Love (head strength and conditioning coach).
