
Pat Fitzgerald seems happy staying at Northwestern even though he has received interest from NFL teams for head coaching jobs.

The Green Bay Packers were interested in interviewing Fitzgerald. Team president Mark Murphy hired Fitzgerald in 2006 when he was the athletic director at Northwestern.
Fitzgerald has been Northwestern’s head coach since 2006 and has compiled a 96-70 record. The 44-year-old was a star linebacker at Northwestern and has been on staff there since 2001.
