Plaxico Burress slams NCAA officials after Michigan State loss

Michigan State suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday, falling 39-38 to Nebraska. After the game, the eventual game-winning touchdown by the Cornhuskers received much of the attention and drew the ire of Spartans fans across the country.

With 17 seconds to go in regulation, Brandon Reilly hauled in a 30-yard touchdown pass after stepping out of bounds and returning to the field of play.

After conferring, the officials concluded Reilly was forced out of bounds by the defender and did not go out on his own. That meant he was allowed reestablish himself in bounds and the resulting touchdown stood.

Nebraska fans were, obviously, elated. Supporters of Michigan State were irate. Among the latter group is Plaxico Burress, who let loose with a series of profanity laced tweets directed at the NCAA.

Now we know how Burress really feels. If anyone would like to book him for a radio show so he can elaborate, he wants us all to know he is available and ready.

That would be quite the entertaining interview, for sure.
