Report: Ole Miss starting CB Jaylon Jones out for season with torn ACL
Ole Miss got its 2018 season off to a nice start on Saturday with a convincing win over Texas Tech, but the 47-27 victory came with a cost.
Junior cornerback Jaylon Jones left the game with an injury, and Ole Miss head coach Matt Luke confirmed on Monday that Jones will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

Jones, a preseason All-SEC selection as a kick returner, returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter against Texas Tech. The starting corner had also recorded seven tackles before he left the game.
