LSU OC Steve Ensminger’s daughter-in-law dies hours before playoff game
The LSU family suffered a tragic loss hours before they face off against the Oklahoma Sooners in the Peach Bowl.
Carley McCord, the daughter-in-law of LSU offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger, died Saturday in a plane crash in Lafayette, La. McCord was an area reporter who served as the in-game host at Saints and Pelicans games.

According to Billy Embody of 247Sports, Ensminger plans to coach Saturday despite the tragedy.
Four other people were killed in the tragic crash, while there is one survivor.
