Tee Martin brushes aside changes to his USC Twitter profile
Tee Martin brushed aside the changes he made to his Twitter profile on Tuesday, saying they were unrelated to his demotion.
USC announced some changes to their football team this week. They fired their offensive line coach and announced that head coach Clay Helton would take over playcalling duties from Martin, the team’s offensive coordinator.
There was already speculation that Helton was calling the plays anyhow, so this just makes it all official.
Shotgun Spratling noticed on Tuesday that Martin removed references to USC from his Twitter account — a negative sign about his future with the program.
Uh…huh…Clay Helton says Tee Martin was supportive of Helton's decision to take over play-calling duties…
That's why, as @keelyismyname noticed, Tee Martin stripped his Twitter bio of USC references. (before & after pics) pic.twitter.com/ZgUutLH0uF

Martin was asked about the changes Tuesday and brushed them aside, according to USC reporter Joey Kaufman.
Tee Martin on removing references to USC from his Twitter profile: "Just changing my picture, want to post about my family. That's it."

Martin may brush things aside, but it seems obvious that he’s bothered. How could he not be? A top recruiter, Martin will likely be available to other programs after the season.
