Texas AD wants to ‘evaluate’ program after latest loss
Those in and around the Texas Longhorns football program are not happy following the team’s 49-31 loss to Oklahoma State on Saturday.
Texas is now 2-2 on the season and has dropped consecutive games. Even more concerning is that the defense has allowed 49 and 50 points in those losses. The defense’s poor play led head coach Charlie Strong to make a few defensive calls against the Cowboys.
Charlie Strong admitted that he made "a few" defensive calls during the game today.

In addition to the 49 points allowed, the special teams struggled as three kicks were blocked. That has Texas AD Mike Perrin saying he wants to “evaluate” what happened Saturday.
I grabbed Texas AD Mike Perrin and asked about Charlie Strong's future. He told me "We need to evaluate what happened here."

Though Perrin’s previous quote made it seem more specifically like Charlie Strong’s job was in jeopardy, the AD later clarified to another reporter that he will be evaluating everything.
Ran into Perrin, too, asked him about this: "I'm not evaluating Charlie per se. I'm evaluating everything." https://t.co/t6sDo8uheI

Strong sure has come a long way since this happened, and that’s not a good thing.
