Jason Dufner and his wife Amanda live in a divided household. Jason walked on to the Auburn University golf team, where he began defying the odds en route to becoming one of the best golfers in the world. He is also an avid Auburn football fan. Amanda went to Alabama.
I’m sure Jason has let Amanda hear plenty about the incredible victory Auburn scored over Alabama that paved the way for the Tigers to earn a spot in the BCS National Championship Game. But just in case Amanda needed another reminder, she recently received an autographed photo from Auburn running back Tre Mason.
Mason, a junior who has rushed for 1,621 yards this season, wrote “War Eagle!” on a photo of himself and signed it. It’s unclear if Jason put him up to it, but I wouldn’t doubt it. After all, he probably owed Amanda one after that embarrassing photo she took of him and the PGA Championship trophy.
