Washington State celebrated Senior Night on Saturday before their game against Oregon State, and they included Tyler Hilinski’s family in the ceremony.
The Hilinski family was on hand at Martin Stadium in Pullman and received a greeting on the field from the Cougars seniors before the game. The players delivered a framed No. 3 jersey and some flowers to the family.

Hilinski committed suicide in January 2018, following his redshirt sophomore season. He was the favorite to be the starting quarterback later in the fall. He would have been a senior this season based on football eligibility.
Hilinski’s younger brother Ryan is currently a quarterback at South Carolina.
