Jim Harbaugh: Wilton Speight remains day-to-day ahead of Ohio State game
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh continues to give few clues as to the status of quarterback Wilton Speight ahead of his team’s massive game at Ohio State.
In his Monday press conference, Harbaugh said he had no changes to report on Speight’s status, reaffirming his characterization of Speight as day-to-day.
“It hasn’t changed,” Harbaugh said, via Mark Snyder of the Detroit Free Press. “It’s a day-to-day evaluation.”
It was reported that Speight was out for the season, but Harbaugh has fervently denied that. Of course, he might just be trying to give the Buckeyes something to think about with these denials. In fact, that’s a plausible reason that this took place, too.
