Jim Harbaugh disputes report that Wilton Speight is out for season
Jim Harbaugh is disputing a report that says Michigan quarterback Wilton Speight is out for the rest of the regular season.
MGoBlog reported Monday that Speight has a broken collarbone that will knock the redshirt sophomore QB out for the rest of the regular season. However, MGoBlog’s Brian Cook did note that Speight could return for the Wolverines’ bowl game depending on his recovery. Multiple media outlets confirmed Cook’s report that Speight has a broken collarbone and will miss the Indiana and Ohio State games.
Harbaugh said on Monday that any report declaring Speight out for the season is “incorrect.”

In addition to games against Indiana and Ohio State, Michigan could have the Big Ten Championship Game and a bowl game remaining on the schedule, depending on what unfolds over the next few weeks.
John O’Korn, a Houston transfer, is likely to take over starting duties with Speight out. He has thrown for two touchdowns in limited action this season.
