Dennis Rodman is in North Korea for a goodwill tour, and he’s already offended PSY
Dennis Rodman arrived in North Korea this week for a goodwill tour. Yes, Dennis Rodman of all people. Though his wild child reputation makes him an unlikely candidate to thaw relations between the US and North Korea, Kim Jong Un is said to have been a fan of the 1990s Chicago Bulls, with whom Rodman won three championships, so maybe The Worm does have a chance to improve relations.
Whatever Rodman does, let’s just hope he displays more tact and knowledge than he did on Twitter Wednesday.
Rodman sent out the following tweet to Korean pop star PSY, whose song “Gangnam Style” became an international hit, without realizing PSY was from South Korea:
@dennisrodman I’m from #SOUTH man!!! kk

Smooth move, Worm.
The response from PSY hasn’t kept Rodman from continuing to tweet about his mission.
It’s true, I’m in North Korea.Looking forward to sitting down with Kim Jung Un.I love the people of North Korea. #WORMinNorthKorea

Three Harlem Globetrotters and a correspondent for an HBO show on North Korea have joined Rodman on the trip. You can read more about his trip in this AP article.
