Nerlens Noel had a giant Kentucky jersey inside his suit jacket
Not only does Nerlens Noel stretch the limits of fashion with his outstanding ’90s hi-top fade, but he also introduced a new look with his suit on draft day.
Noel, who was believed to be in the mix at No. 1 overall, slipped in the draft to No. 6, where the New Orleans Pelicans drafted him. Like 2012 No. 1 overall pick Anthony Davis, Noel is a former Kentucky Wildcat who was selected by New Orleans. He decided to pay tribute to the Wildcats with a blue tie and giant Kentucky jersey embroidered inside his suit jacket.
It was nice to see a smile on the kid’s face after his giant struggle face when he learned the Orlando Magic were taking Victor Oladipo at No. 2:
