Everyone with a pair of eyes believes Chip Kelly needs to bench Blaine Gabbert and give Colin Kaepernick a shot, but do the players in the locker room feel the same way? According to one report, they do.
A source told Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports that there is an increasing level of “frustration” inside the San Francisco 49ers’ locker room over the direction of Kelly’s offense.
Mounting frustration in the 49ers locker room about state of Kelly's offense, I'm told. He's gonna have a hard time selling Gabbert now

According to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com, some within the Niners organization even believe third-string quarterback Christian Ponder is currently the best quarterback option on the roster.
Thursday night’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals made it clear that Gabbert is hurting the team, not helping. If San Francisco’s offensive struggles were strictly a product of poor play-calling, you could argue that any quarterback would have the same results. However, Gabbert missed at least three wide open receivers against the Cardinals, and he missed them horribly.
After the game, Kelly admitted he is going to evaluate the quarterback position. When you combine La Canfora’s report with a troubling one we heard earlier in the week, it seems like the internal pressure is mounting for Kelly to make the change to Kaepernick.
