Aaron Donald responds to retirement reports following Super Bowl win
Aaron Donald did not confirm rumors about his possible retirement after winning Super Bowl LVI, but he certainly did nothing to deny them either.
Various reports suggested that Donald would consider retirement if the Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl on Sunday, so naturally the defensive lineman had to respond to questions about that after he did come out victorious. Donald brushed aside the questions, saying he wanted to focus on “the moment” while hinting that no decision would come for several days.

While not confirmation, this definitely qualifies as a non-denial from Donald. Adding further fuel to the speculation, he assessed his legacy and admitted he had accomplished more than he ever expected.
Aaron Donald admitted he has surpassed even his own goals that he set for himself when he came into the league. "To be here right now, to be able to look back at things I've been able to accomplish is truly a blessing," he said. pic.twitter.com/kYfiGaw30W

NBC’s Rodney Harrison was the first to suggest before the game that Donald may be planning to retire if he gets a ring. The 30-year-old was absolutely dominant in the Rams’ win, and the fact that he did nothing to dispute that report suggests the possibility is very much on his mind.
