The agent for Earl Thomas responded to a report about his client supposedly telling the Oakland Raiders that he wants to play for them.
On Tuesday, NBC Sports Radio host Newy Scruggs reported that Thomas was “done with Seattle” if they do not give him a new contract. Scruggs further reported that Thomas approached Raiders owner Mark Davis and told him he wants to play for his team.

Thomas’ agent seemed to reject the report, saying “Don’t let the truth get in your way.”
Thomas is set to make $8.5 million in the final year of his contract. He has not attended the Seattle Seahawks’ offseason activities, including minicamp, and he is not expected to attend the team’s training camp. At this point it seems unlikely that Thomas will play for the Seahawks in the upcoming season.
There has been talk all offseason about the Cowboys having trade interest in Thomas. However, Seattle is said to have a high asking price for the safety.
