AJ Brown has telling message for media after Eagles’ latest loss
Frustration is clearly building for the Philadelphia Eagles, who have now lost four of five after a concerning second-half collapse against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
Eagles star receiver AJ Brown was reflective of that after the game, a 35-31 home loss to a Cardinals team that came in at just 3-12 on the season. Approached by reporters at his locker, Brown refused to speak with the media, saying that it was not personal but there was “nothing to say.”

“I’m not about to to talk. There’s nothing to talk about,” Brown said. “There’s nothing to say. It’s nothing towards y’all though, just to clear that up.”
This is emblematic of what has happened to the Eagles down the stretch. They are 11-5 after a 10-1 start, and are now in danger of losing the NFC East title to Dallas. Brown, who can get frustrated when he is not heavily involved in the offense, was held to four catches for 53 yards in the loss.
The Eagles finish the season with a road game against the New York Giants that has turned into a must-win, at least for their hopes of a division title and home playoff game. On paper, they should have the advantage, but the same was true against Arizona as well.
