Alfred Morris feels wrath of Cowboys fans for rooting for Kirk Cousins
If Alfred Morris wants to know how passionate Dallas Cowboys fans are about their team, all he has to do is check his Twitter mentions.
Morris, who spent the first four seasons of his career with the Redskins before signing with the Cowboys, sent a tweet during the Redskins-Steelers game Monday night encouraging his former teammate Kirk Cousins to “get it going.”
Let's get going Captain Kirk

Can anyone guess how Dallas fans reacted to their backup running back showing support — however harmless it was — for another NFC East team? Not well. Not well at all.
@FredoSauce bro you play for Dallas now .. Stop

@FredoSauce I know he's a former teammate but, ya can't be rooting for a division rival #CmonMan

We should note that there were many, many tweets commending Morris for being a class act and supporting a former teammate. There were also others that were more cruel than the ones we highlighted.
Fans of NFC East teams typically don’t like one another, which is no surprise considering how competitive the division is year in and year out. Even a guy as humble as Morris — have you seen his car? — can’t get away with cheering for the enemy.
