Report: Lane Johnson suspended four games for failed PED test

Lane JohnsonPhialdelphia Eagles offensive lineman Lane Johnson has reportedly been suspended for the first four games of the regular season after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs. The news was first reported by Paul Domowitch of the Philadelphia Daily News.

Johnson is the Eagles’ starting right tackle and one of the more important pieces of their offensive front. The former Oklahoma star played in all 16 games during his rookie season last year after being drafted with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

After being drafted, Johnson showed Philadelphia reporters that he has a great sense of humor when he punked them with a story about wrestling bears.

Johnson is a big reason why LeSean McCoy racked up more than 2,000 total yards from scrimmage last season. Assuming the suspension holds, the Eagles will have to find other ways to open holes for McCoy and protect Nick Foles.
