Anthony Lynn has sad comment about Chargers after loss
The Chargers have developed a reputation for being a team that squanders opportunities and fumbles away losses. They can have a win in the palm of their hands and manage to bungle it.
So far this season, that scenario has been holding up.
The Chargers are 0-3 after their loss to Kansas City at home on Sunday. After the game, head coach Anthony Lynn had a sad comment about the team’s status.
Anthony Lynn: “You might say we’re the same old #Chargers … well right now, we are. Until we prove differently, we are.” Team now 0-3.

The “same old Chargers” find new ways to lose games. They missed field goals at the end of games in Weeks 1 and 2, and they were beaten in more straightforward fashion in Week 3. Philip Rivers was terrible and threw three interceptions. Lynn also elected to punt on 4th and 21 with about three minutes left in a 17-10 game instead of going for it. They never got the ball back as KC converted a 3rd and short on them and then busted out a 69-yard touchdown run to win 24-10.
Lynn was brought in to turn around a team that had consecutive losing seasons under Mike McCoy. So far he hasn’t turned things around.
