Detroit Lions defensive end Armonty Edwards was suspended three games by the league for a violation of the substance abuse policy, the NFL announced Tuesday.
Edwards was waived by the Browns in early October and then claimed by the Lions. He was already suspended the first four games of the season due to a PED violation.
The latest suspension is the result of a misdemeanor drug possession charge he pleaded guilty to over the summer.
Bryant’s absence will likely hurt the Lions as he had three sacks in four games with the team.
