Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty is expected to be the first running back off the board in the 2025 NFL Draft, and following his Pro Day earlier this week, that now seems like a guarantee.
While the 2024 Heisman Trophy runner-up skipped most workouts, he did participate in on-field drills, showcasing his talents as both a running back and wide receiver.
But that’s still not what caught the attention of most.

Rather, Jeanty caught the eye of many scouts and analysts with his impressive physique. He already looks like a player who has spent several years in an NFL weight room, working with the best trainers and nutritionists in the world.
On-field talents aside, it’s his mental dedication and commitment to putting in the work that Jeanty believes sets him apart from the rest.
It’s easy to see why he feels that way.
“A lot of people just talk about your attributes as a player. Like, I have the attributes that every one of the great running backs has. The ability to break tackles. The speed. The agility. The ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Running routes like a receiver,” he told FOX Sports.
“But I think most important to me is just the character of the person I am. I work harder than the rest, but I stay humble. I’m always striving to achieve more.”
The proof is in the pudding. Jeanty’s self-control is evident and that’s why his workout video has gone viral with more than 24.3 million views as of Saturday morning.
