Austen Lane shares ridiculous questions scouts asked him at combine

It is not uncommon for NFL scouts and team officials to want to find out everything they possibly can about a player before they consider drafting him, but sometimes the questions seem totally out of line. On Tuesday, a former NFL defensive lineman shared some of the more absurd ones he was asked.

Austen Lane, who was drafted by the Jaguars and played for four different teams from 2010-2014, says he was asked questions at the NFL Scouting Combine that would leave anyone scratching their head.

And my personal favorite:

While we have no way of confirming that Lane is telling the truth, it wouldn’t exactly surprise us. Remember the completely inappropriate question a Dolphins executive asked Dez Bryant before Bryant entered the NFL? This stuff happens all the time.
