Ben McAdoo is getting a head start on the trash talk in anticipation of Sunday’s season-opener against the division rival Dallas Cowboys.
While addressing reporters on Wednesday, the New York Giants head coach took a shot at Dallas’ largely unknown secondary this season, according to David Helman of the Cowboys’ official website.
Ben McAdoo quips that the Cowboys' secondary looks different in 2017. "If you know who's playing corner for them, you can let me know."

It’s true the Cowboys lost much of their secondary from 2016 to free agency, including Barry Church, Morris Claiborne, J.J. Wilson, and Brandon Carr. But they also signed Nolan Carroll, got three cornerbacks in this year’s draft, and will hopefully be getting Orlando Scandrick back at full health. Thus, it’s a bit of a curious statement from McAdoo, who has his own issues to worry about.
