Ben Roethlisberger rape warning issued by Cincinnati radio station

Ben-Roethlisberger

The Bengals and Steelers will once again renew their rivalry in a first-round playoff game Saturday night, and one local Cincinnati radio station is going all-in on Ben Roethlisberger’s sexual assault history.

A “severe Big Ben warning” was issued by 700 WLW in Cincy this week, which was basically a sarcastic heads-up to the women in the area that a man who has been accused of sexual assault is coming to town. Here’s the audio:

“The Steelers quarterback has been spotted in the downtown Cincinnati area,” the announcement says. “All females ages 18-40 are to use extreme caution, especially if consuming alcohol. Males should also be on the lookout just in case. If you see Big Ben and he flashes Little Ben, you are asked to report it to authorities immediately.”

We’ll let you determine if that one crosses the line or not, but WLW told TMZ that they plan to continue running the spoof through the weekend.

It has been nearly six years since Roethlisberger escaped criminal charges for an alleged sexual assault incident, and the details at the time were pretty disturbing. He’ll always be associated with the scandal, so it’s no surprise Bengals fans are doing their best to keep it fresh on everyone’s mind before the big game.
