Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy left practice on Tuesday with an injured hamstring. He could be sidelined for a few weeks, but the three-time Pro Bowler is expected to be ready for Week 1. In the meantime, the Bills could use some depth.
Ray Rice on Line 1?
According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, the Bills have had internal discussions regarding the possibility of signing Rice.

Rice has yet to receive an offer from any team this offseason, though there has been some indication that interest could be increasing. The former Baltimore Ravens running back may end up getting a chance to fight for a roster spot as training camp wears on and teams start dealing with more injuries.
We already know one team whose owner wants to see Rice get another shot. Rice would almost certainly sign a non-guaranteed contract, meaning there would be no financial risk involved. It will be interesting to see if Rex Ryan is willing to provide him with an opportunity most teams won’t.
