Awesome Korean call of Tyler Bass’ missed kick goes viral
The Korean call of Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass’ missed field goal on Sunday went completely viral.
Bass missed his 44-yard attempt with 1:47 left that allowed the Kansas City Chiefs to escape Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, N.Y. with a victory. A made field goal from Bass would have tied the game at 27. Instead, the visitors rushed for a first down and then burned the clock to win 27-24.
Jim Nantz’s call from the CBS broadcast of the game referenced an infamous Bills moment in history (video here).
The Korean call of Bass’ missed kick sounded like a mix of shock and amazement. Neither announcer appeared to be expecting a miss from Bass.

There’s something truly captivating about hearing a sports call in a foreign language. Those who don’t speak the language are left to rely on the emotion and intonation in the announcer’s voice to feel the significance of the moment.
Bills fans, however, didn’t need any commentary to feel the pain from Bass’ missed field goal attempt. Buffalo supporters were seen in tears at Highmark Stadium after the result was final.
