Brandon Marshall tweets support for Mets with Yankees hat
Brandon Marshall didn’t quite get it right when tweeting his support for the New York Mets in the National League Championship Series.
Marshall is a current New York Jet and former Chicago Bear, so with the Cubs and Mets facing off in the NLCS, he decided to let his Twitter followers pick who he’d support.
Chicago family, where you at? Help me pick a baseball team. RT if you say Cubs! Taking the team with the most RTs.

The Mets won the battle of retweets, and so Marshall duly unveiled an edited picture of himself… wearing a Yankees cap in Mets colors.

Marshall tried, but he – or whoever made that edit for him – probably should have taken a second look at the logo on the cap. At least they got the colors right, but Mets fans who follow Marshall will certainly not be too thrilled about this.
