Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders are set to count a combined $23 million against the salary cap in 2018, and there has been speculation that the team could look to move on from one of the two. While that is a lot of money to spend on two receivers, it sounds like the Broncos are planning to stick with both.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Broncos are making it a priority to bring in a top quarterback this offseason, and they want that QB to have good weapons in the passing game.
The belief is both are safe with the chase for a top QB in mind. https://t.co/OKPx2m1MGy

Thomas became one of the highest-paid receivers in football when he signed a five-year extension with the Broncos in 2015, and he has underperformed a bit over the past two seasons. That has mostly been the result of poor play from the quarterback position, but there have been questions about his motivation and commitment to the team.
Despite his inconsistent play, Thomas has appeared in all 16 games over the past six seasons. Sanders missed four games in 2017 due to injury, but both are capable of making big plays when healthy and dialed in. If John Elway decides to keep both, he’ll be banking on a new quarterback rejuvenating the team.
