Broncos players reportedly upset over TJ Ward release
One of the challenges of running an NFL team is balancing the financial and positional needs of a team with the happiness of the players already on the roster, and the Denver Broncos may be in trouble on that second front.
The Broncos released three-time Pro Bowl safety T.J. Ward on Saturday, parting ways with an integral member of one of the best defenses in the league over the past several years. That, apparently, has not sat well with several players.
Team might feel they can replace T.J. Ward on the field, but in the LR I’m not so sure. Loved by many teammates who are upset with the move.

Broncos cornerback Chris Harris actually vented his disappointment publicly on Twitter.
Ima miss my dawg @BossWard43

From a strictly logistical perspective, the Broncos have younger, cheaper options to do Ward’s job and are willing to take the risks associated with going that route. One of them was upsetting the locker room, and it looks like team president John Elway and coach Vance Joseph may have some fires to put out. After all, Von Miller was pretty much in denial over the rumors, even when most neutral observers saw the move coming.
