The Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars kicked off the trade party during Day 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Several reports confirmed that the Browns agreed to trade the second overall pick, a 2025 fourth-round pick (No. 104), and a 2025 sixth-round pick (No. 200) to the Jaguars. In exchange, Cleveland got back a huge draft haul: Jacksonville’s fifth overall pick, a 2025 second-round pick (No. 36), a 2025 fourth-round pick (No. 126), and their 2026 first-round pick.

The #Browns and #Jaguars have agreed to a blockbuster trade to give Jacksonville the No. 2 overall pick, while Cleveland gets No. 5 and a massive haul to help now and in the future.

The Jaguars moved up to select Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter with the No. 2 overall pick. Cleveland used the No. 5 pick to select Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham.
Rumors were flying hours before the draft that the Jaguars were “a team to watch” to make such a move. New Jacksonville general manager James Gladstone did not let the opportunity pass.
The Browns got a massive package of picks in return. The deal gave them two very high second-round picks this year (No. 33 and No. 36) and two first-round picks during next year’s draft, which is projected to be a much more quarterback-rich class.
