The Cleveland Browns have decided on their new offensive coordinator, and it is someone with plenty of experience in the AFC.

The Browns plan to hire former Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. He replaces Alex Van Pelt, who was let go after the team’s playoff loss.

This will be Dorsey’s second offensive coordinator job. He had served in the same role for the Buffalo Bills since 2022, where he had previously been their passing game coordinator. The struggling Bills fired him in November and then saw their fortunes improve under interim offensive coordinator Joe Brady.

Dorsey had interest from at least one other team with an offensive coordinator vacancy, but the Browns moved quickly to bring him in. Their offense actually looked better this year after Joe Flacco replaced Deshaun Watson at quarterback due to injury, so the expectation will be that Dorsey addresses that.
