Browns reporter speculates that AJ McCarron hurt shoulder in preseason game
AJ McCarron did not look good in his first preseason start for the Buffalo Bills, and he may have been injured on top of that.
McCarron went just 3-of-6 for 12 yards while starting for Buffalo against Cleveland on Friday night. He was replaced by rookie Josh Allen, who put up some nice stats.
Browns sideline reporter Bernie Kosar said on the telecast that he saw McCarron leave the field with what looked like a shoulder injury.
“We’re watching a lot of injuries on Buffalo’s side tonight,” Kosar said late in the third quarter. “We watched AJ McCarron take a lot of hits. I have a feeling that Josh Allen’s gonna be in there in Buffalo a lot quicker than maybe Baker’s gonna here in Cleveland. Watching AJ walk off the field with his shoulder hurting. I have a feeling we’re going to be hearing some stuff later.”
No other reporter has said anything about a potential shoulder injury for McCarron, so that will be something to keep your eye on. McCarron missed time during his rookie season due to his shoulder.
