Mentioning “Sanu” and “A.J.” as his favorite players — a reference to Mohamed Sanu and A.J. Green, who are receivers for the rival Bengals.
The younger Hawkins probably likes those guys because his dad played for the team from 2011-2013. Old allegiances die hard.
