San Francisco 49ers FB Bruce Miller was arrested last week in Santa Clara on suspicion of domestic battery.
A look at the Santa Clara police log shows Miller was arrested just before midnight on Thursday for spousal battery.

“The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the matter involving Bruce Miller,” the 49ers said in a statement via CSN Bay Area. “We were disappointed to learn of these reports and will do our due diligence in collecting all relevant information.”
The county’s DA has received the case and will decide how to proceed.
Miller’s arrest comes at a time when the Niners are dealing with all sorts of bad PR. Last year they stood by Ray McDonald as he faced domestic violence allegations but was never charged. The team later released McDonald after he was involved in a Dec. rape investigation.
Miller, a former 7th-round pick, has caught three touchdowns over the past two seasons. His primary value to the offense is as a lead blocker.
