Chad Johnson showed up at fan’s house to play FIFA

Chad Johnson is a big soccer fan and, not surprisingly, enjoys the FIFA video game series. On Monday, the former NFL wide receiver was in the mood to play someone other than the computer. So, he made a trek across Virginia.

Johnson was looking on Twitter for someone in the Norfolk area to get a few games of FIFA in with, when he received a response.

Anybody in Norfolk play FIFA15, I will come to your house & politely embarrass you on Xbox One in front of your family & friends…

Accepting the challenge, Johnson tweeted that he would be over in a couple of hours.

Say no more, just landed in Richmond, be there in 2 hours after I see my kids… RT @TheeCMo: 843 W 48th street RT @ochocinco: #FIFA15KING

Next thing you know, Johnson showed up and it was game(s) on.

The official results had Johnson splitting the two games that took place.

Passed out an L to chad and took an L the too not gonna lie. Series tied.. #tobecontinued

Not a bad turn around for a day that started with Johnson ending up in Richmond by accident.

Johnson has always been quite active on social media. He responded to a grieving widow and flew her to his wedding with Evelyn Lozada. He also once tweeted his number asking followers to text him if they need anything. Okay, it wasn’t his entire number, but still. Then there was the time he flew a follower to a Patriots-Broncos playoff game because the guy had been tweeting Johnson for two years without receiving a single reply.

If Chad Johnson tweets and you’re debating whether or not to answer, it’s probably a good idea to do it. You never know what may happen.
