Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy to interview with Giants, Panthers in coming days
Eric Bieniemy has a demanding upcoming schedule.
Bieniemy not only has to help his Kansas City Chiefs prepare for their divisional round playoff game, but he is also interviewing for head coaching jobs.
According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Bieniemy will interview with the Carolina Panthers on Thursday and the New York Giants on Saturday. Bieniemy also has a request from the Browns to interview with them.

Bieniemy, 50, is in his second season as the Chiefs’ offensive coordinator. He has previously served as an OC at his alma mater Colorado and has been with the Chiefs since 2013, previously serving as their running backs coach.
Bieniemy would help a team satisfy the Rooney Rule through interviews, but that’s not the only reason he’s receiving interest. The Chiefs’ offense has excelled under him, even when Patrick Mahomes was injured this season. That’s a big credit to both him and Andy Reid.
