Chiefs acquire pass-rusher in trade with Patriots
The Kansas City Chiefs have acquired a veteran pass-rusher in a trade with the New England Patriots.
Joshua Uche was traded to the Chiefs on Monday in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round draft pick, according to multiple reports.

The Patriots drafted Uche in the second round out of Michigan in 2020. He has 2 sacks through seven games this season and had 3 sacks in 15 games a year ago. Uche’s best season by far was in 2022, when he had 11.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles in 15 games for New England.
Kansas City is the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL following their 27-20 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Despite that, they are clearly still looking for ways to improve ahead of the Nov. 5 trade deadline.
Uche could prove to be a nice addition to the Chiefs’ defense if the 26-year-old plays to his potential.
