Chris Cook was ejected from Sunday’s Minnesota Vikings-Chicago Bears game after pushing a referee during the third quarter.
Cook appeared to be upset after Alshon Jeffery scored on a 46-yard touchdown catch, and he reacted by putting his hands on official Laird Hayes. He was penalized 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct and ejected from the game.
In one angle the contact looked accidental, but in the GIF at the top, it appears to be intentional.
Cook was not only upset about the touchdown — he might have felt Jeffery should have received a penalty for jumping over him — but he was also upset about what happened two plays earlier when Jeffery knocked a potential interception out of his hands.
