The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have lost their second top wide receiver to a season-ending hamstring injury.
Chris Godwin left Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions with a hamstring injury, and after the game, coach Bruce Arians characterized the injury as “not good.”
Arians described Chris Godwin’s hamstring injury same as he did Mike Evans’ last week: “Not good.” Bucs could be without top two receivers for last two games.

The first hint that Godwin’s injury was severe was that he had to be carted off the field. Arians using the same words that he described Mike Evans’ injury with is particularly bad, though, as Evans has been ruled out for the season. Even a week-to-week injury may rule Godwin out for 2019 since there are only two games left to play.
Godwin was in the midst of a breakout season, having racked up 86 catches for 1,333 yards and nine touchdowns. All of those marks are career-highs for the third-year receiver.
