Ex-NFL RB Chris Johnson riles Jets fans up by revealing his big regret

Chris Johnson went from being one of the best running backs in the NFL to a member of a time share with the New York Jets, and you can understand why he regrets that decision looking back. Just don’t expect Jets fans to feel any sympathy for Johnson.

On Monday, Johnson took to Twitter to admit he has kicked himself for signing with the Jets over the Baltimore Ravens in 2014. He said the Ravens offered him the same money and he still chose New York.

Just thinking to myself how did I pick going to jets over Baltimore Ravens in 2014 what a bad decision !!!!

Wasn’t bout the money it was same contract either place https://t.co/VBKEQOSZu0

Johnson spent the first six years of his career with the Tennessee Titans, and he rushed for more than 1,000 yards each season. He eclipsed the 2,000-yard mark in 2009 and earned himself the nickname CJ2K. He then signed with the Jets in 2014 and rushed for just 663 yards on 155 carries and was released after just one year.

Johnson insisted he had nothing personal against the Jets but simply should have known they had no room for him with Chris Ivory and Bilal Powell already there. That didn’t stop him from feeling the wrath of Jets fans.

Shheeshhhh that struck a nerve lol

Johnson was quick to toot his own horn after signing with the Jets, but things obviously didn’t work out. While there’s no telling how he would have fared in Baltimore, you can’t blame him for wondering what could have been.
