Report: Clay Matthews likely has broken nose after softball accident
Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews is believed to have a broken nose after getting hit in the face by a line drive during a charity softball game Saturday.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Matthews is being taken to the ER for a full evaluation, though the belief is that he escaped with only a broken nose.
#Packers LB Clay Matthews is headed to the ER after being hit by a line drive in a charity softball game. The belief now is it’s just a broken nose, but he’s having a full workup to be sure. Scary situation, and if it’s just the nose, it could have been much worse.
