Coby Fleener still dealing with concussion symptoms
Coby Fleener is still experiencing symptoms from the concussion he suffered last season.
Fleener was cut by the New Orleans Saints in May with a failed physical designation. According to a story by Nola.com’s Josh Katzenstein, Fleener is still having issues from the concussion he sustained in Week 12 last season.
Fleener says he is experiencing dizziness and “head pressure.”
This is the fifth documented concussion of Fleener’s career, but the first time he’s had those particular symptoms. The 29-year-old told Katzenstein that he wants to return to the NFL when he finally recovers.
A former second-round pick by the Colts, Fleener had 22 catches for 295 yards and two touchdowns in 11 games last season. He has scored 23 touchdowns in his career.
