Cooper DeJean and Reed Blankenship received the wildest introduction at the Philadelphia Eagles’ championship parade on Friday.
When DeJean and Blankenship came up to speak, they were introduced as the “Exciting Whites.”
“Please, Philadelphia, give it up for the ‘Exciting Whites,'” the intro said.

DeJean then took the microphone first.
“I’m super grateful to be here with this team. Super grateful to be a part of this city. I love you guys. I appreciate you guys. Thank you, thank you for everything,” DeJean said.
Blankenship then spoke and started yelling. He began to quote Meek Mill’s song “Dreams and Nightmares.”
“I used to pray for times like this, to rhyme like this …” Blankenship sang.
The “Exciting Whites” is a tandem nickname the two have embraced this season. Having a white cornerback in the NFL is extremely rare, but the Eagles have that in DeJean, who delivered a huge pick-six in the Super Bowl. White safeties like Blankenship are more common but still not in the majority. So Philly having two white defensive backs on their team multiplies the rarity.
Any time the “Exciting Whites” are mentioned, people inevitably share the following photo online from the wine aisle in the store:
DeJean and Blankenship would make a good wrestling tag team in retirement. The “Exciting Whites” would be a sweet duo name.
